Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky includes the most extensive cave system
known in the world. More than 367 miles of cave passageways have been mapped, and
there may be more miles still uncharted. The national park preserves this cave system
along with Kentucky's Green River Valley and the surrounding hills. Since becoming a

Top travel destinations in Uganda

Uganda is a beautiful country with an impressive people. This is one of my favourite countries in all of Africa. The people of Uganda have survived the troubles of 1967-86 period and emerged standing upright and wearing a smile. In that short period, the country suffered under the caprice of two despicable despots. One was the indisputably insane Idi Amin and the other, the arguably insane Milton Obote.

This is now history - a testament of the dignity and endurance of this people. The transformation of the country in the period since normalcy returned is nothing short of astounding. And it shows in the faces of the people you meet. That the graceful beauties of Uganda have not received the recognition they deserve in international beauty pageants is for me incontrovertible proof that most of these events are really fixed.

Spain popular travel destinations

Barcelona- Much more cosmopolitan and fun than Madrid during the day in my opinion. I took the double-decker tour bus around the city and thought it was a good way to see all the sites in a short period of time. Check out the Barrio Gothic, Las Ramblas, the yacht harbor, the beach, La Sagrada Familia cathedral and all the other works by architect Gaudi. The restaurant crowds get huge at two pm for lunch, so try to beat the rush. Port Olympico is a good area for nightlife, filled with bars, cafes, and many English-speaking tourists. It’s also right on the water, which adds to the atmosphere.

Paris city break

Paris is simply the city that has it all. From its birth on the banks of the Seine in 52 BC as Julius Caesar continued his conquest of Europe, the City of Light has always commanded a captive audience. Paris is synonymous with iconic landmarks.

There’s nothing quite like watching the Eiffel Tower light up on a beautiful moonlit night, reaching out to the stars and beyond. Many first time travellers to Paris arrive via the rather underwhelming Eurostar train terminal. But don’t let first impressions deter you. The French charm is soon apparent upon the city streets. But be careful navigating the roads.
